CGI is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery and coordination of complex infrastructure and cloud initiatives within a large scale financial services environment. This role will manage multiple concurrent projects spanning AWS cloud infrastructure, databases, networking, security, production support, upgrades, migrations, and remediation efforts.
The Infrastructure Project Manager will work across multiple technology teams and application portfolios to maintain project roadmaps and schedules, manage dependencies and risks, coordinate implementation activities, and ensure commitments and remediation items are completed on time. Projects may impact hundreds of applications, making strong prioritization, communication, and follow through critical to success.
This is not a hands on engineering or application development role. The successful candidate should have enough technical knowledge of AWS and enterprise infrastructure to understand proposed changes, ask the right questions, identify upstream and downstream impacts, and communicate risks and decisions clearly to technical teams and senior management.
