Description:
CCS an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited company has an employment opportunity for a Calibration Technician to join our team in Tukwila, WA on a 30hrs/week basis (possibly leading up to 40hrs/week with paid Holidays, Paid Sick Leave and Vacation Time). We are looking for an individual with integrity and a quick learner.
Calibration and Validation Technicians perform routine and complex work related to:
- Calibration of test measurement and equipment in the Aerospace, Bio/Pharmaceutical, Food and Manufacturing industry.
Training:
- CCS will invest in your professional growth by providing you with education and training opportunities as the need arises to keep current in the field.
Work environment:
Primary Responsibilities:
- Achieves customer satisfaction and timely turn-around on all equipment and service.
- Enters data into an asset tracking database.
- Creates calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision based upon instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures SOP’s or protocols.
- Completes all documentation supporting customer documentation requirements, reporting, ISO and other quality systems.
- Interacts with customers for items requiring troubleshooting or limited calibration.
- Performs other support functions as required in an efficient and orderly manner.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record. (Not more than 1 moving violation within any 12 month period.)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in test equipment calibration requested.
- Experience with General Purpose, Physical Dimensional, Electrical, Mechanical (Pressure/Vacuum/Torque), Thermodynamic and Humidity calibration preferred.
- Ability to work and investigate issues independently, ability to communicate clearly in English
- Must possess good customer service/relations skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, good math aptitude.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted.
