Housekeeping Assistant – Part-Time Cedar Haven Healthcare Center | Lebanon, PA Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM Status: Part-Time – 30 hours per pay period Requirements: 1 weekday per week, every other weekend, and every other holiday Rate: $16.00/hour + shift differential Help Us Create a Clean, Comfortable, and Safe Home for Our Residents Cedar Haven Healthcare Center is dedicated to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our residents, families, and staff. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. This role plays a vital part in supporting resident comfort, dignity, and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect assigned areas according to facility standards
- Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials
- Restock supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures
- Work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff to minimize disruption to resident care
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Must be reliable and able to work required weekends and holidays
