Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with meals and provide feeding assistance as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote residents' dignity, comfort, independence, and safety.
- Follow infection control procedures and facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Compassionate and patient approach to resident care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and nursing instructions.
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
Schedule
- AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- PM Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- NOC Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends required
