Bear-O Care is looking for caring, dependable, patient, and positive individuals to support clients with physical, developmental, and other support needs.
POSITION DETAILS
- **Monday--Friday (**Generally 6:30 AM--4:30 PM) Schedule varies based on client/program needs
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide direct care, supervision, and personal support
- Assist with daily living skills and personal care
- Encourage independence, choice, and confidence
- Support communication, social skills, and behaviors
- Participate in activities, outings, and transportation
- Follow client support plans and safety procedures
- Maintain client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS Team-Oriented, Safety-Minded, Positive, Willing to Learn, Calm Under Pressure.
REQUIREMENTS
- 18 years or older
- Meet applicable client-care requirements
- First Aid/CPR certification within 90 days
- Disability-care experience preferred
- Able to communicate effectively and follow instructions
- Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs. and assist with client mobility and daily activities
