Axia Care Center is seeking a dependable, experienced, and team-oriented Full-Time Assistant/Cook to join our team. Position: Assistant/Cook Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Axia Care Center
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily kitchen and food-service operations
- Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining area
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and meal service
- Follow all food-safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies
- Support daily operations and staff as needed
- Help ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Prior Assistant Management experience is required
- Previous cooking, kitchen, dietary, or food-service experience preferred
- Healthcare or long-term-care experience is a plus
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to cleanliness, food safety, and detail
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
