Original job description

Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel healthcare contract in Norfolk, Virginia, supporting specialized diagnostic imaging services. You will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate nuclear imaging equipment, acquire high-quality images, and follow radiation-safety procedures throughout each assignment. With consistent 8-hour day shifts and a 40-hour weekly schedule, this role offers a structured workweek alongside the opportunity to explore the coastal character of southeastern Virginia.

Weather:

Norfolk typically offers cool coastal weather around this time of year, with crisp mornings, comfortable afternoons, variable cloud cover, and occasional rain. Breezy conditions are common near the water, so a light jacket is useful for exploring the area.

Fun Things To Do:

Waterfront: Walk along the Norfolk waterfront and visit the area’s maritime attractions.
Arts and culture: Explore the Chrysler Museum of Art and its glass collection.
Day trip: Spend a day in Virginia Beach enjoying the boardwalk, shoreline, and oceanfront dining.
Day trip: Visit Colonial Williamsburg for historic sites, museums, and walkable streets.
Outdoor escape: Enjoy kayaking, walking trails, and wildlife viewing at First Landing State Park.

Job Specifics:

City and State: Norfolk, Virginia

Shift: 8-hour days

Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week
