Job Description:

This 13-week travel contract is designed for a Histology Technician to support laboratory operations in Charleston, South Carolina. You will perform routine and complex histologic procedures, including specimen processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and special stains, and immunohistochemistry.

The role also includes quality control of completed slides, identifying issues that may affect diagnostic results, documenting test observations, maintaining laboratory equipment records, and following established laboratory procedures. Epic Beaker experience, BLS, and HT(ASCP) certification are required. The schedule follows 8-hour night shifts, with occasional weekend coverage and weekend on-call responsibilities approximately once every two months.
