Job Title: Custodian (part-time)

**Pay Grade 1: ** $14.157 per hour with consideration based on experience
Ashtabula County Children Services is currently accepting applications for part-time Custodian position. Position is available for 20-24 hours per week. Must have good driving record and pass a drug screen.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general supervision of the Finance Director, the Custodian will:
- Performs a variety of tasks to ensure cleanliness of building and any other facilities (e.g., cleans all restrooms daily; sweeps and mops all floor surfaces; dusts furniture and fixtures; vacuums carpeting a minimum of three (3) times weekly; cleans all glass and mirrors; washes walls and windows; empties all waste containers daily; etc.)
- Ensures wet floor signs are posted for all to see; cleans walls, windows and ceilings, turns lights on and off as needed. Replenishes all paper products in restrooms and kitchens daily.
- Return all machines to area leaving equipment clean and in a safe and orderly fashion. Keeps maintenance/utility room in good order.
- Assists in moving tables, chairs, and equipment as needed. Reports any need for equipment repairs to the Finance Director/designee. Stocks cleaning supplies and advises Maintenance Worker when a new order is necessary.

- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
**QUALIFICATIONS: **
- High school or GED; related experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience necessary to perform essential functions of position.*** ***
