AmeriStaff is currently seeking a Pest Control Technician who is responsible for identifying and eliminating pests in and around residential and commercial buildings. This position involves applying pest control treatments, setting traps, and using various methods to prevent and control pest infestations. Benefits of the Pest Control Technician: - Monday-Friday 8am-5pm - Pay: $12.77 will increase after training - On the job training Primary Responsibilities: - Apply chemical solutions, powders, and gases to designated areas to eliminate pests. - Inspect buildings and surrounding areas to identify pest infestations. - Identify pests, including rats, termites, snakes, wasps, ants, spiders, mosquitoes, and bed bugs. - Set mechanical traps and place bait in appropriate locations. - Treat affected areas to eliminate pests and help prevent future infestations. - Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when handling and applying pest control products. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: - Ability to identify common pests and recognize signs of infestation. - Ability to safely handle pest control products and equipment. - Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. - Ability to work independently and outdoors when necessary. - Willingness to follow all safety procedures and applicable regulations.
