Responsibilities of the Welder: - Execute welding operations using MIG equipment and techniques to fabricate metal parts and assemblies according to specifications and blueprints - Perform various types of welds including straight lines, curves, and circles, while maintaining accuracy and quality standards - Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary adjustments or repairs - Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time and in adherence to quality guidelines - Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in welding technology to implement best practices Requirements of the Welder: - Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a similar fabrication or manufacturing setting - Proficient in operating MIG equipment including welding machines, grinders, cutting torches, and various hand tools - Strong knowledge of different welding techniques, materials, and their properties - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications - Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to maintain high-quality standards - Physical ability to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
