This position is ideal for candidates with welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, and assembly experience who enjoy hands-on work and building quality products in a production environment.Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Fabricate, assemble, and tack weld parts to specification
- Measure materials using tape measures and shop tools
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality
- Work safely around welding equipment and production machinery
- Assist with fabrication and production tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow quality standards and production requirements
- Support team goals while meeting production schedules
Requirements
- 6+ months of MIG welding experience
- 1+ year of welding experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience with fabrication and assembly processes
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure
- Experience welding steel or aluminum
- Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
