Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Worker plays a key role in the efficient movement of packages within a busy distribution facility. In this role, you load and unload packages from trailers and delivery trucks, sort items to ensure they reach the correct destination, and support the returns group during a K12 ramp-up period in E-Town. You work as part of a diverse, collaborative, and energetic team that thrives in a fast-paced environment on either first or second shift.Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from trailers and delivery trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Sort packages accurately to ensure they are routed to the correct destination within the facility.
- Support the returns group by handling, organizing, and processing returned items for the K12 ramp-up.
- Perform general warehouse labor, including packing, repacking, and rework of products as needed.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures and production goals.
- Handle materials throughout the warehouse, including staging, moving, and organizing inventory.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including preparing outgoing shipments and unloading incoming freight.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, if qualified and as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while lifting, moving, and stacking packages.
