UST Service Technician

UST Service Technician Now Hiring: Underground Storage Tank (UST) Service TechniciansWe're seeking experienced Service Technicians to support fuel system compliance, testing, maintenance, and repair activities across multiple sites throughout Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona. This is a field-based role offering the opportunity to work independently while supporting critical fueling infrastructure.Pay

• $30.00 - $37.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

• Perform line leak testing and compliance testing on underground storage tank (UST) systems
• Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs on tanks, piping, and fueling system components
• Replace spill buckets and associated UST equipment
• Diagnose, repair, and calibrate Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) sensors and monitoring systems
• Conduct monthly inspections across approximately 70 sites
• Complete field documentation, testing reports, and inspection records using an iPad
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local UST regulations
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety procedures

Work Environment

• Approximately 95% field-based work
• Travel throughout Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona
• Independent work at fueling and storage tank facilities
• Reporting and documentation completed from the field using mobile technology

Required Qualifications

• QST Certification
• A/B Operator Certification
• Experience servicing, testing, or maintaining underground storage tank systems
• Knowledge of fuel system components, leak detection systems, and compliance requirements
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Ability to travel regularly throughout the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ATG systems and sensor troubleshooting
• Experience in petroleum equipment service, fuel system maintenance, or environmental compliance
• Experience performing line testing and regulatory inspections
• Strong documentation and reporting skills

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, CO. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
