Job Title: General Production Worker / Machine Operator $20.00 HR Job DescriptionWe are hiring a General Production Worker / Machine Operator for a custom plastics manufacturing facility. This position involves operating and setting up production equipment, completing machine changeovers, inspecting parts, and assisting with other production duties as needed.This is a first-shift, contract-to-hire opportunity with room for long-term growth.Schedule:

Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC, thermoforming, and rotational molding machines
- Load plastic sheets and materials into production equipment
- Set up machines according to work orders and production requirements
- Perform machine changeovers, tear downs, and tooling setups
- Monitor machines and finished parts for quality
- Use hand tools during machine setups and changeovers
- Read work orders and follow production schedules
- Use a tape measure and basic shop math
- Troubleshoot basic production and machine issues
- Assist with basic preventive maintenance
- Lift and handle materials up to approximately 40 lbs.
- Assist other production or shipping departments as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Machine operating experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic mechanical aptitude and shop math skills
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Ability to follow work instructions and quality procedures
- Willingness to learn different types of production equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
