(Close to the NY Border) In this joinery shop apprentice position, you will work within a team that is responsible for quality control of CNC cut timber. This entry to intermediate level position requires attention to detail, thoroughness, understanding of basic math/geometry, and internal motivation. Qualifications: (preferred but not required) 1. Building or Construction Knowledge 2. Hand and Power Tool Experience 3. Ability to Read Construction Drawings 4. Joinery Knowledge 5. Positive Attitude 6. Fork Truck Experience 7. Must Be Able to Lift 100lbs. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate in all areas necessary to be successful in this position. Responsibilities: 1. Reference Dimensions of CNC Cut Timber from Construction Drawings 2. Cutting/Adjusting Timber Joinery 3. Assembling Timber Trusses 4. Maintain Inventory, Materials, and Supplies 5. Shipping and Receiving Material 6. General Maintenance/Clean-Up Salary will be based on experience.
