Pay: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Flexible availability, including weekends and emergency transportation needs
Job Overview
Wolverine Human Services is seeking a dependable, flexible, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Transporter, supporting both youth transportation and general facility operations at our Vassar campus.

The Transporter is responsible for safely transporting youth and families to scheduled appointments, court appearances, medical visits, and other approved destinations, while also remaining available to respond to urgent or emergency transportation needs.
When transportation services are not needed, the employee will assist our Operations and Maintenance Department with general maintenance, facility upkeep, equipment movement, and other operational tasks.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys variety in their workday, is comfortable with changing priorities, and can transition between driving and hands-on maintenance responsibilities as needed.

• Support groundskeeping, seasonal maintenance, and general property upkeep.
• Help maintain clean, safe, and organized facilities and workspaces.
• Complete additional operational assignments as directed by supervisors.

• Assist with keeping agency vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for use.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report mechanical concerns.
• Assist with coordinating vehicle maintenance and servicing as needed.
Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to perform general maintenance and physical operational tasks.
• Flexible availability to accommodate scheduled and emergency transportation requests.
• Experience in transportation, general maintenance, facilities, or related work preferred.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work effectively with youth, families, and staff.
What We're Looking For

• Safety-Conscious: Committed to the safety and well-being of youth, coworkers, and the community.
