Machine Maintenance Technician
Responsible for preventive maintenance and repair of mill and production equipment to keep operations running safely and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, including greasing and lubrication of production machinery
- Inspect, maintain, and replace drive belts, bearings, motors, air cylinders, air valves, drive chains, and sprockets
- Perform basic welding for equipment repair and fabrication
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Maintain and service forklifts
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety protocols when servicing equipment
Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on maintenance experience
- Basic welding and electrical skills
- Forklift maintenance experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a mill/production environment
