Grain Elevator Operator
As a member of WindRiver Grain, the job requirements will include
? Must be a minimum of 18 years old with a high school education or equivalent
? Have your own transportation
? Ability to perform physical job duties, including bending, lifting, climbing, and moving 50
pounds or more
? Good communication skills
? Work in a team environment
? Work in various indoor and outdoor conditions
? You will be required to wear (PPE) Personal Protective Equipment
? Must be able to work in varied temperatures and in elevated areas
? A working knowledge of machinery and heavy equipment used in elevator operations
? Must be able to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends
? Understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Job Duties
? Load and unload rail cars and trucks
? Monitoring the condition of all grain and inventory
? Perform critical elevator operations, maintenance, and monitor equipment in order to
maintain good working order
? Grain Elevator Operators will be cross trained to perform a variety of tasks
? Maintain the appearance of the facility
? Perform general labor when needed and work independently
? Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
? Other duties as assigned
