Wheatsville Food Co-Op

Wheatsville Food Co-Op is locally known as the friendliest store in town! Founded in 1976, our store was created with our customers in mind. We are dedicated to providing local, organic, and TASTY produce to all our shoppers. With our very own kitchen in store, we provide made-on-demand beverages, sandwiches, smoothies, as well as all baked goods. Fresh bread, fresh pastries, and fresh smiles are what greets all our shoppers as they come in to buy their groceries.

Our purpose is to create a self-reliant, self-empowering community of people that will grow and promote a transformation of society toward cooperation, justice, and non-exploitation. With that in mind, we strive to provide a completely transparent business for our community, including our Co-Op owners, staff, and city in all our operations. Kindness, honesty, and fun are all part of our daily lives here at Wheatsville.

Each morning, employees and shoppers head into the store with a smile on their faces, ready to start the day with their Wheatsville family. But don't take our word for it; stop on by your local Wheatsville today and see our mission in action!
