Substitute LPN
Nurse to attend to medical needs in school or classroom(s) including monitoring of seizures, Gtube feedings, and administration of medication via Gtube and/or other routes. Assist with health needs of including but not limited to nutrition, hydration, mobility, elimination, comfort, rest and hygiene, and educational needs. Follow medical plan of care for student with health needs. If assigned to classroom, may also perform duties of paraprofessional at teacher's instruction. Other duties as requested.
Requirements
Must have LPN license for Massachusetts. Please submit a letter of intent, resume, and copy of LPN license. Experience working with children with severe disabilities, including no or limited verbal communication, preferred. Experience with children who may have behaviors associated with a neurological disability preferred. Experience with children with seizures and Gtube. Current CPR certification.
