Company Overview Schonbek, a premium lighting brand and a member of The WAC Group, is looking for a Fabricator, 1st shift, Monday - Friday. The Fabricator is responsible for producing a quality frame free from defects using available information and documentation while meeting the production schedule in a team environment.
Responsibilities
Provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment, and systems of work for self and all employees, and to participate in training as needed for this purpose. Must read and comprehend blueprints, routing, job cards, bill of materials, and other pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Fabricate parts by using appropriate hand and air tools, documentation, jigs, and equipment. May set up and operate a resistance welder, grinder, ring roller, rivet machine, shear, drill press, press brake, hydraulic press, bending table, T-drill, cut off machine, beader, threader, and other fabrication equipment. Ensures a quality product by identifying issues with manufactured and purchased parts. Obtains necessary information and a daily work schedule by referencing the computer system. Participates in inventory activities including cycle counting. Racks parts in preparation for finishing. Ensures an organized, clean, and safe workspace by understanding and applying the use of 6S guidelines. May be assigned to other areas within the organization. Performance expectations to be met during the probationary period.
Requirements
High School Diploma or Equivalency Preferred Prior Manufacturing Experience a Plus Must have Reliable Transportation Ability to Work 6:30am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday, and Overtime as Needed Must have a Reliable Attendance Record

The expected hourly rate is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors allowed by law.
