LPN Supervisor

Are you a compassionate nursing professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality resident care? Vincentian Home Personal Care, located in the North Hills of Pittsburgh, is looking for a dedicated LPN Supervisor to join our team!
In this role, you’ll help lead daily nursing operations, support and guide nursing staff, and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized care. What You’ll Do
• Oversee daily operations of assigned resident care units, ensuring residents receive high-quality care that meets their individual needs.
• Support nursing staff by communicating care standards, coordinating assignments, and adjusting staffing schedules to meet resident care needs.
• Conduct regular nursing rounds to evaluate resident care, address concerns, and ensure smooth unit operations.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive work environment that encourages teamwork, open communication, professional development, and staff satisfaction.
• Provide guidance to staff in resolving resident care concerns and investigate complaints from residents, families, and physicians.
• Coordinate staff responsibilities during emergencies and ensure appropriate leadership personnel are notified.
• Ensure necessary equipment, supplies, and records are available for effective operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and unusual occurrences and communicate concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Promote a safe environment by following nursing standards, facility policies, and applicable safety regulations.
• Support compliance, risk management, and efficient use of departmental resources.
• Stay current with nursing practices, management approaches, and applicable long-term care regulations.

What We’re Looking For
• Current, valid Pennsylvania nursing license required.
• At least three years of nursing experience in long-term care or personal care preferred.
• At least one year of management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, long-term care regulations, and Medicare and Medical Assistance requirements preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervisory, and staff management skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and respond effectively to changing resident care needs.
• A commitment to quality care, teamwork, resident dignity, and compassionate service.
