Via Seating is looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Associate to join our team in making our amazing chairs! If you enjoy sewing and take pride in producing quality craftsmanship, we'd love to hear from you.
Our Industrial Sewing Associates operate and tend sewing machines in order to perform sewing operations on upholstery for office chairs. This includes joining, reinforcing and decorating upholstery in order to craft our various models of chairs. Our industrial sewing associates mount attachments such as needles and pattern blades as well as adjust the sewing machines according to the specifications provided to them for the project at hand. Our industrial sewing machine operators also adjust machine controls and regulate stitching speeds for every project that they work on.
The Industrial Sewing Associate is not a safety-sensitive position.
$21.50–$24.50/hour | 4-Day Work Week (Monday - Thursday) | First Shift | 3-Day Weekends

What You'll Do
- Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture upholstered office chair components
- Sew, reinforce, assemble, and finish upholstery materials
- Set up sewing machines, including needles, attachments, and pattern configurations
- Adjust machine settings and stitching speeds based on production requirements
- Follow production specifications while maintaining high quality standards
- Inspect finished work to ensure accuracy and craftsmanship
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating a sewing machine - industrial sewing machine experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow patterns, specifications, and work instructions
- Reliable attendance and ability to work in a production environment
- Pride in producing high-quality work
