Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses, focusing on personal care, treatment, and hygiene
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report patient status to nursing staff, including vital signs, behavioral changes, and concerns
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry standards and best practices
Requirements:
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients using proper techniques and equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
