Position: Teacher - Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and School-Age
Job Description:
Unity Academy Learning Center is seeking caring, dependable, and dedicated teachers to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. Teachers will be responsible for planning and providing age-appropriate learning activities that support children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and lessons.
- Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
- Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
- Follow all center policies, procedures, and childcare regulations.
- Observe and document children's development and progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development.
- Work as part of a team to provide quality childcare and education.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be dependable, patient, caring, and responsible.
- Ability to work effectively with children of different ages and developmental levels.
- Education and credential requirements may vary depending on the teaching position.
