As part of our onboarding process, Unique Movers conducts background checks for employment purposes. Having a criminal record does not automatically disqualify an applicant from employment.
Background check results will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration factors such as the nature of the offense, its relevance to the position and job responsibilities, and other applicable circumstances.
Because our employees work in customers' homes and businesses, handle personal property, and may operate company vehicles, certain offenses may affect eligibility for specific positions.
All background checks and employment decisions will be handled in accordance with applicable federal and state laws.
