Lead with Heart. Develop Clinicians. Transform Veterans' Lives.
As the Licensed Clinical Supervisor at U.S.VETS’ Veterans Connection HUB in Washington, D.C., you'll combine meaningful direct client care with the opportunity to mentor clinicians, strengthen multidisciplinary teams, and help veterans experiencing homelessness heal from trauma, overcome behavioral health challenges, and rebuild their lives. If you're an experienced licensed clinician who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about developing both people and programs, you'll find purpose - and impact - here.
What You'll Do
As our Licensed Clinical Supervisor, you'll serve as both a clinical leader and practicing clinician, providing direct behavioral health services while strengthening the quality of care delivered across our programs. Working closely with the Executive Director and National Director of Clinical Services, you will:
- Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy, along with comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and care coordination.
- Deliver individual and group clinical supervision while mentoring licensed associates, interns, and developing clinicians to support their professional growth.
- Partner with case managers and multidisciplinary teams to consult on complex cases, crisis response, risk assessment, and coordinated treatment planning.
- Promote trauma-informed, evidence-based care by providing clinical guidance, leading case reviews, and supporting high-quality client outcomes.
- Oversee clinical quality, documentation, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance activities to ensure services meet professional, licensing, and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with site and national leadership to strengthen clinical operations, identify opportunities for continuous improvement, and foster a culture of learning, accountability, and clinical excellence.
You'll Thrive Here If You Are...
- Mission-Driven: You're passionate about serving veterans and believe compassionate clinical care can change lives.
- A Natural Mentor: You enjoy developing clinicians, sharing your expertise, and helping others build confidence and grow.
- A Self-Starter: You take initiative, exercise sound clinical judgment, and thrive with autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative: You value teamwork and partner effectively with case managers, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes.
- Resilient & Positive: You bring a solutions-focused, "glass-half-full" mindset and remain calm, adaptable, and optimistic when navigating complex clinical challenges.
