POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable field service technician to join our growing team servicing the municipal and industrial water/wastewater treatment market throughout Florida. This position involves, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, startup, and repair of a variety of treatment systems and equipment including pumps, valves, actuators, chemical feed systems, instrumentation, and control components all while providing exceptional customer service for our customers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· Technical school, vocational training or associate degree in electrical, mechanical Industrial maintenance, instrumentation, or related field.
· Equivalent field experience in water/wastewater, industrial maintenance or process
equipment service will be considered in place of formal education Experience
· 2–5 years of field service experience in industrial services, mechanical services, utilities, construction, infrastructure or technical service environments preferred
Responsibilities:
· Perform field service, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on water and wastewater treatment equipment.
· Assist with job planning, routing, and logistics to optimize service delivery and response times
· Install and commission new equipment at customer facilities
· Diagnose electrical, mechanical and instrumentation issues
· Read wiring diagrams, P&ID’s and technical manuals
· Complete service reports and communicate findings with customers and Management.
· Travel to customer sites throughout Florida as required
· Willing to travel as needed to be trained to work on some equipment if necessary.
· Maintain a safe and professional work environment at all times
Documentation, Compliance & Systems
· Maintain accurate service records, work orders, reports, and documentation
· Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and internal operational standards Technical & Professional Skills
· Strong organizational and coordination skills
· Proficiency in service management systems, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office
· Strong communication and customer service capabilities
