Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Fireplace Installer/Tech to join our team! In this vital role, you will lead installation projects, ensure the highest standards of quality and safety, and provide exceptional customer service. Duties
- Lead and oversee the installation of fireplaces, gas, wood and pellet, and related mechanical systems at customer sites with precision and professionalism
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to fireplace service issues as well as new installations.
- Read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately install and repair equipment
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools and equipment to job sites. Maintain organization on the trucks and ensure all tools are removed from the job.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining work performed, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process
- Supervise junior technicians or apprentices, providing guidance on best practices in installation and repair techniques
Experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous supervisory or team lead roles in installation or maintenance environments
- Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams & appliance technology is essential
- Hands-on experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), construction projects or similar technical fields preferred
- Familiarity with company vehicle operation and safe driving practices required
- Strong mechanical knowledge encompassing gas, wood and pellet stoves, and general equipment repair
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
