- Audit Heavyweight: Proven experience leading audit readiness assessments and preparing an organization for strict PCAOB audit standards.
Nice-to-Haves: If you are a wizard in NetSuite and have experience managing professional services revenue in tandem with SaaS models, you’ll immediately jump to the front of the line!
What You’ll Actually Be Doing:
- Lead the Ledger & Close: Own all core accounting functions (GL, AP, AR, treasury, fixed assets) and lead a timely, GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Build Scalable Infrastructure: Design, implement, and maintain the accounting policies, internal controls, and data hygiene required to support the company's next phase of massive growth.
- Drive Operational Finance: Own day-to-day operations within NetSuite, optimizing systems and tools to enforce stringent controls while streamlining workflows.
- Board & Investor Reporting: Partner with the Finance Lead to prepare quarterly Board materials, financial dashboards, and key SaaS KPIs (CAC, cost of sales, departmental spend).
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor to Operations, Engineering, and executive leadership to provide clarity and sound judgment on complex economic deals.
You're a Perfect Fit If:
- You are a highly analytical, detail-oriented leader who doesn't just want to "manage" an existing system - you want to optimize and build it.
- You communicate flawlessly across all levels of an organization, handle competing priorities with ease, and are energized by the fast-moving energy of a tech startup environment.
