Position Overview:
The Good Bread Company is looking for a motivated, hard-working, and skilled Security Guard to join our team! The Security Guard will be asked to utilize their experience with surveillance and site security to oversee the safety and security of a commercial building near downtown Minneapolis. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing camera footage, making regular rounds around the property, addressing trespassers, and contacting police, if necessary. Vigilance, being detail oriented, and critical thinking will be key to your success in this role.

Shift Available:
- 1st Shift
- 8am - 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday
Key Responsibilities:
- Protect the business’ property, staff, and the environment by keeping the location secure.
- Address trespassers on the property and ask them to leave.
- Report any suspicious incidents to management in detail.
- Report any individuals who refuse to leave the property or who commit a crime to the authorities immediately.
- Act in a lawful manner while in defense of the property, staff, and environment they are in charge of.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business building and perimeter.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record
- Must have a clean background
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years of security guard experience
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight
- Ability to work with and manipulate computers
- Must be able to exert well-paced mobility for duration of the shift
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and move up to 50 pounds frequently
Physical Requirements:
- Able to stoop, bend, and crouch on a regular basis
- Able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Able to walk around the property several times per day with no restrictions
- Able to work in several environmental conditions, such as rain, snow, heat, and cold
