Candidates must be willing to train on either 1st shift or 3rd shift before moving to the permanent 2nd shift schedule. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ # Machine Operator Job Responsibilities As a Machine Operator, you will: - Follow all manufacturing process documentation and production procedures - Load and unload raw materials according to production specifications - Perform quality checks including Differential Scanning Calorimetry, weight checks, and QA inspections - Monitor and maintain utility systems, including boiler room checks - Complete silo inspections, transfers, and material handling tasks - Maintain Horizontal Burn and waste water treatment (WWT) chemical levels - Mix chemicals and transport materials to production hoppers - Monitor manufacturing processes using computer systems - Adjust water flow, temperature, and air levels as needed - Interpret production data to identify quality or production issues - Operate within safety and quality standards at all times - Support team production goals in a manufacturing environment ------------------------------------------------------------------------ # Machine Operator Requirements Qualified candidates should have: - Previous manufacturing, production, machine operator, or industrial experience - Experience working with metric measurements - Ability to interpret basic production and quality data - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to follow work instructions and production procedures - Good communication and teamwork skills - High school diploma or GED required - Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred (training available) Physical requirements include: - Standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift - Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds ------------------------------------------------------------------------ # Why Work With The Advance Group?
