SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Stocker to provide outstanding support for our store operations and excellent customer service to our guests.
Stocker responsibilities include receiving and packing products to stock shelves, ensuring that prices are accurate in the system, and arranging attractive displays of merchandise based on current sales promotions. If you have an eye for detail and enjoy interacting with customers, we’d like to meet with you.
A Stocker counts inventory and stacks items on shelves in an organized system to ensure all items fit properly for consumers to browse. To be successful in this role, you should have the ability and knowledge necessary to provide excellent customer service. You should treat all customers equally with respect while providing useful information about products.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties: (Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to)
- Comply with all Convenience Store operating policies & procedures.
- Assist with inventory spot checks as requested by management.
- Responsible for stocking and displaying merchandise in attractive, safe and correctly priced manner as directed.
- Sort and stock products on shelves and in the backroom throughout the day
- Receive and store incoming products in a timely manner
- Ensure accurate product counts
- Keep all areas of the facility clean, safe and well maintained.
- Maintain a clean and neat store appearance for our customers
- Have proper appearance and a clean and neat uniform.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and providing product information to customers
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Possess High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Be able to work holidays, evenings and weekends.
- Ability to professionally write reports and correspondence.
- Ability to work with and oversee staff both collaboratively and independently with great problem-solving skills.
- Must exhibit strong customer service skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, stress-filled environment efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and lift up to 30 lbs. on occasion.
