What You'll Do as a Construction Crew Member
- Build custom decks, porches, pergolas, patios, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and other outdoor living spaces.
- Assist with framing, decking, railings, stairs, trim, and finish carpentry.
- Perform excavation, grading, digging, base preparation, drainage work, and masonry installation.
- Work with lumber, composite decking, natural stone, flagstone, porcelain, and other construction materials.
- Load trucks, unload supplies, and lift, carry, and move heavy materials, tools, and equipment.
- Follow construction plans and your Foreman's direction to complete daily projects safely and efficiently.
- Maintain clean, organized job sites while protecting customers' property and keeping tools and materials secure.
- Collaborate with your crew to tackle daily priorities, deliver quality craftsmanship, and keep projects moving forward.
Our Ideal Construction Crew Member
- Hardworking & Dependable: You show up on time, ready to tackle physically demanding construction work with consistent effort, endurance, and a strong work ethic.
- Skilled & Quality-Focused: You take pride in excellent craftsmanship and producing work that meets Keystone's high standards; previous carpentry, masonry, or construction experience is a plus, but we're willing to train.
- Physically Capable: You can frequently lift up to 75 pounds, perform strenuous manual labor, and work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Safety-Minded & Customer-Focused: You follow safety practices, respect customers' property, and help maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites.
- Reliable & Coachable: You have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a willingness to follow instructions, learn new skills, and respond positively to feedback.
- Team-Oriented & Ownership-Minded: You support your Foreman and crew, take responsibility for your work and mistakes, and bring a positive, respectful attitude that makes a lasting impact on teammates and customers.
