Summary
T2S Solutions is seeking a Purchaser responsible for the compliant sourcing, procurement, and expediting of materials, components, and subcontracted services in support of government, aerospace, and electronics manufacturing programs. This role ensures procurement activities meet contractual, regulatory, quality, and export control requirements while supporting cost, schedule, and performance objectives. The Purchaser works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, Program Management, and approved suppliers to ensure timely delivery of conforming materials. This position is on-site and operates within a controlled, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Support all open purchase orders within the ERP system, including vendor communications, expediting actions, and delivery schedule adherence
- Execute the full procurement lifecycle from RFQ development through PO award, fulfillment, receipt, and closeout, including high-value and subcontract purchase orders
- Ensure procurement activities comply with contract requirements, flow-down clauses, quality standards, and internal purchasing procedures
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance to resolve supplier nonconformances, corrective actions, and material quality issues
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and contractual conditions in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Monitor supplier performance metrics including on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness, and cost; support supplier scorecards and performance reviews
- Develop and maintain relationships with approved and strategic suppliers to support program continuity, risk reduction, and cost control
- Generate weekly and monthly procurement KPIs for management review, including schedule adherence, cost performance, and supplier performance
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by streamlining procurement processes, improving supplier responsiveness, and implementing best practices
- Provide procurement support to Operations, Program Management, and Administrative teams as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 10 years required prior experience in purchasing or supply chain roles within aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or government contracting environments
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
- Familiarity with regulated procurement environments, including quality systems and supplier compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex documentation and records
- Ability to prioritize workload, meet aggressive schedules, and manage multiple procurements simultaneously
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills
- Demonstrated professionalism when handling proprietary, confidential, and export-controlled information
Regulatory & Compliance Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, refugee, or asylee) in accordance with ITAR/EAR and other export control regulations
- Ability to comply with government contract requirements, quality management systems, and company security policies
Compensation: 100-120k/annual (DOE)
