Job Title: Mortgage Origination Professionals Location: Indianapolis, IN Type: Contract Compensation: $24/hr Work Model: Onsite Hours: 40 hours/week, scheduled between 7:30 AM – 6:30 PM ET (8-hour shifts) Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance (includes background + credit check)
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound questions via phone and email from industry professionals and the public
- Use a knowledge base and search tools to find accurate answers and provide clear guidance
- Follow documented procedures across different topics/systems/contact channels
- Document interactions thoroughly in a database
- Stay current on mortgage processes, updates, and best practices
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of mortgage origination experience (examples: loan originator, loan processor, junior underwriter, loan officer)
- 1+ year of contact center and/or phone-based customer service experience
- Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems and using search tools
- Strong communication skills (written + verbal) and professional phone etiquette
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage time well
- Typing speed 40 WPM or higher
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (credit/background check)
- FHA knowledge/background (preferred)
- Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred, not required)
- Omnichannel contact center experience (preferred)
