Job Title: Admix Operator
Location: Sealy, TX
Type: Contract To Hire
Compensation: $19 / hr.
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety, security, and environmental policies.
- Execute production processes while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Perform batch making, packaging, product setups, and changeovers.
- Complete in-process quality testing and document results.
- Maintain accurate SAP order confirmations and production records.
- Ensure materials and equipment are available and operating properly before production.
- Operate, troubleshoot, and assist with preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Meet daily production schedules and output goals.
- Train and assist new or temporary employees as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and other projects assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Chemical batch production experience preferred.
- Prior military experience is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong math skills, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to follow precise instructions.
- Ability to learn and perform quality/lab testing procedures.
- Self-motivated with strong teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance.
- Flexible to work overtime and other shifts as needed.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other equipment after training.
