MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists the Maintenance team with the operating condition of buildings and
equipment, and completes simple repairs. Analyzes and solves technical
maintenance problems. Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical,
carpentry, plumbing, or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments.
Operates common hand and power tools.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactorily.
? The General Mechanic is responsible for keeping all plant machinery and
facilities in proper operating condition.
? Must be able to read and understand schematic and mechanical drawings for
hydraulics, neumatics, electrical and related equipment.
? Skilled use of hand and power tools.
? Fabrication and welding.
? Design and build machinery and related components as required.
? Substitute as needed for Blow mold Tech.
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to
moving mechanical components, hot machinery, pressurized hoses and pipes.
? The employee may be asked to perform many varied tasks which are not listed
herein but are essential to the job.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education/Training:
HS diploma or GED. Completion of Accredited Apprenticeship program is strongly
preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years active hands on experience in machinery maintenance & repair.
