How you will contribute
Training Design & Delivery
- Develop and implement structured, role-based training plans for assigned pillars.
- Coordinate and deliver new-hire onboarding, orientation, and hands-on floor training.
- Develop work instructions, job aids, and instructional materials aligned to current SOPs.
- Maintain Train-the-Trainer programs; select, coach, and evaluate SMEs assigned as trainers.
Competency & Assessment
- Assess employees to verify they are competent to perform assigned tasks independently within assigned pillars.
- Identify skill and performance gaps and implement targeted development plans.
- Monitor training effectiveness using assessments, floor observations, leadership feedback, and operational performance data.
- Connect learning outcomes to safety, productivity, quality, and other operational KPIs.
Documentation & Compliance
- Track SOP compliance and escalate deviations.
- Maintain training matrices, certification records, and competency documentation.
- Keep training records accurate, current, and audit-ready at all times.
- Partnership & Reporting
- Partner with Operations, Safety, and HR as an individual contributor - influencing without direct authority.
- Provide site leadership with regular updates on training progress, trainee status, competency levels, and areas requiring additional support.
- Identify gaps in the training program and recommend improvements
- Other duties as assigned.
Your Key Qualifications
- Experience working in an automotive or logistics environment working in a quality capacity.
- Above average interpersonal, organizational and communication skills - written and oral to deal with a wide range of customers-both internal and external.
- Ability to communicate and deal with a variety of people including DP World team members as well as all levels customer from managerial to hourly.
- Excellent trainer skills and abilities.
