The Full-Service Technician is responsible for reconditioning, reassembly, and testing of three-phase pad mount transformers. Compliance with all safety requirements, product quality standards and company policies are essential functions of this role.
- Read and follow work orders instructions to ensure your rebuilding transforms to customer specifications.
- Gather parts and tools that are needed for the work order and ensure they are in good working condition prior to usage.
- Reconditioning and reassembly padmount transformer will include, but is not limited to, cleaning and inspecting components, replacing gaskets, changing the oil and basic repairs.
- Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation
- Utilize shop equipment and tools safely and appropriately. Return equipment to proper location once usage is complete
- Usage of overhead crane and other material handling equipment may be needed to perform job tasks
- Maintain safe, clean and orderly workstations
- Other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience with electrical and Mechanical areas, required.
- Transformer work history, preferred
- Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers
- Help team members resolve questions and help with the workload

- Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required
