Duties may include: Drives and operates farm machinery to plant. cultivate, spray, and harvest fruit. Prepares soil to plant, fertilize and harvest crops. Sprays trees and removes excess growth to improve fruit quality with pruning, saws and clippers. Irrigates soil. Drives truck or tractor to transport materials, supplies and products. Picks fruit during harvest & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
