About The Role:
We are recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer to help create solutions as part of the QA Engineering team. As QA Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying and eliminating defects in our products through the development and execution of tests to ensure product quality. The position is available to work remotely with occasional travel to our headquarters in Reston, VA. About the Position
- Review requirements, specifications and design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create and execute test plans and clear, concise test scripts for new products or enhancements to existing products
- Define comprehensive scenarios and variations in data to adequately perform testing
- Hands on execution of test cases, update documentation accordingly with results
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing process for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Collaboratively work with other engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

About You:
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing life cycle along with tools and processes
- Detail oriented, high level analytical and problem solver
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Hands on experience with test automation a plus
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
- Good understanding of API testing
- Knowledge of testing web-based applications/Cross Browser testing
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks and adjust quickly in a fast changing environment
- Enjoying wearing multiple hats at times
