The candidate will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving warranty quality concerns involving Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including long- and short-range radar, cameras, ultrasonic sensors, associated processing ECUs, software, wiring, and related vehicle interfaces. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Analyze warranty claims, dealer repair data, diagnostic trouble codes, returned parts, customer feedback, and field performance trends to identify emerging ADAS quality issues.
- Lead root-cause investigation and corrective-action activities with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, service, and validation teams using structured problem-solving methods such as 8D, 5-Why, fishbone analysis, fault-tree analysis, and is/is-not analysis.
- Manage ADAS warranty issues from initial detection through containment, validation, corrective action, clean point, and effectiveness monitoring.
- Coordinate part returns, teardown analysis, vehicle testing, software and calibration reviews, and supplier investigations to determine failure mechanisms and systemic causes.
- Track issue status, timing, risk, claim volume, repair effectiveness, and cost impact; provide clear updates and escalation summaries to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Support field actions, technical service information, dealer diagnostics, and repair procedure improvements to reduce repeat repairs and improve first-time fix performance.
- Verify corrective actions through data analysis, vehicle or bench testing, and post-implementation warranty monitoring.
- Identify opportunities to improve ADAS design robustness, diagnostics, serviceability, supplier quality, manufacturing controls, and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with ADAS design and release, functional integration, systems engineering, suppliers, plants, dealerships, and warranty teams to resolve complex hardware, software, calibration, communication, and integration concerns.
