Maintenance Technician Steelblue BC is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the reliable operation of our facilities and equipment. In this full-time role, you’ll help keep systems running smoothly through preventative maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvements that reduce downtime. What you’ll do
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and general facility systems
- Troubleshoot issues and complete repairs to restore equipment to safe, working condition
- Inspect equipment and document maintenance activities, findings, and outcomes
- Support safety inspections and follow all lockout/tagout and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with installation, upgrades, and adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to prioritize work and improve reliability
What we’re looking for
- Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting (mechanical and/or electrical)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to read and interpret basic technical documentation (manuals, schematics, work orders)
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to preventing repeat issues
- Comfort working hands-on in a fast-paced environment
