Are you handy and like figuring things out? Do you have experience putting things together and using power tools? Do you like carpentry but want a little more variety? This could be the role for you! We’re seeking a Cabinetmaker/Builder to help construct complex projects across trade shows, events, spaces, and experiential activations.
At this time, STAR has an open position for a Cabinetmaker / Builder. This role plays a critical role in ensuring that our clients’ projects are executed above expectations. You will assist with crafting expressive display and momentous experiences. We support growth and reward hard work.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Building of exhibits for trade shows, retail displays, corporate interiors, activations events, etc.
- Ability to read CAD Drawings and create/build components accordingly.
- Collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure build specifications are met.
- Experience using a variety of power tools and machining of materials
- Ability to work independently through instructions/directions.
- Refurbish and repair existing exhibit components.
- Laminating
- Maintain equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Occasionally work with STAR team offsite for install & dismantle
