Details: - CNC Lathe Operator - East Peoria - 1st Shift - \$24 Responsibilities or job duties: - Set up and operate CNC and/or manual mills and lathes according to production specifications - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machining requirements - Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each job - Monitor machine operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout production - Perform precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools - Make necessary adjustments to machine settings, tools, or offsets to maintain part tolerances - Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of machines and equipment - Inspect finished parts for defects and verify they meet quality and dimensional standards - Maintain documentation of production runs, quality checks, and completed work - Follow all safety guidelines, shop procedures, and company policies - Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals - Troubleshoot equipment issues and report mechanical concerns when needed
