Looking for Finisher Plater jobs in Alexandria where hard work drives every shift? This opportunity lets you help manufacture quality products, support production goals, and contribute to a team that keeps operations running safely and efficiently. Provide support services to line operators. Understand and use proper post-plating procedures for rinsing and drying. Follow inspection and packaging procedures.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
- Experience with inspection, packaging, or assembly processes is a plus
Job Duties
- Provide support services to line operators
- Perform proper post-plating rinsing and drying procedures
- Follow inspection and packaging procedures to ensure product quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
- Learn and apply racking techniques to optimize product quality and quantity
- Build racks to maximize production output for new products
- Assist with general production and material handling duties as needed
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Must be able to lift up to lbs.
