Looking for Distribution Center Team Member jobs in Katy where every day keeps products moving? This opportunity lets you support warehouse operations through picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling while helping ensure orders are completed safely and accurately.
Responsible for receiving, handling, storing, and preparing merchandise for shipment in a fast-paced distribution center. This role supports inventory accuracy, product quality, and on-time customer deliveries while maintaining a safe work environment.
Job Duties
- Unload, receive, and inspect incoming shipments
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
- Verify product quality and inventory accuracy
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse equipment as needed
- Move and organize inventory throughout the facility
- Follow safety procedures and productivity standards
- Assist with general warehouse and distribution operations
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification preferred
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, distribution center, fulfillment, manufacturing, or logistics experience is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory procedures, shipping software, or RF scanning equipment is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Distribution Center Team Member.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive warehouse tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and packages weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to safely work around warehouse equipment, conveyors, and moving inventory.
- Ability to maintain productivity while working in warehouse and distribution environments.
