Looking for Distribution Clerk jobs in Carlsbad where accuracy and teamwork keep products moving? This opportunity lets you play a key role in receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, and helping maintain an organized, efficient warehouse operation.

We are looking for a candidate comfortable working with computers, specifically with basic Excel knowledge. While this role will join the Distribution team in our warehouse, the primary responsibilities will be computer-based.

Job Duties

• Order fulfillment of retail and distributor shipments
• Package and weigh shipments
• Prepare and maintain shipping records
• Arrange for shipments of product with outside carriers
• Post shipping charges
• Perform verification of shipment accuracy
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
• Review and stock finished goods to ensure that they are tagged and properly prepared for shipping
• Conduct basic cycle count reconciliation
• Responsible for maintenance of shipping/receiving areas including cleaning. sweeping, dusting and related activities
• Perform other related duties, special projects or assignments as required

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years distribution experience
• Experience receiving, storing, picking, packing, or shipping products in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following company procedures.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and inventory accuracy.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely load, unload, and organize products in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and production conditions as required.

What You Will Do

As a Distribution Clerk you will receive incoming shipments, inspect materials, prepare outbound orders, verify inventory, organize warehouse stock, complete shipping and receiving documentation, and help maintain accurate inventory records. You will safely move products throughout the warehouse while supporting efficient shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations.

A Distribution Clerk contributes to efficient warehouse operations by helping products move safely and accurately from receiving through final shipment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.

The Distribution Clerk works with inventory, shipping documentation, warehouse equipment, and storage systems while maintaining productivity and workplace safety. Accurate work helps ensure customer orders are completed successfully.
